Stanthorpe to Kingscliff (NSW)

Postby Scolers on Fri Feb 20, 2009 1:11 pm

Hi Guys,

Just planning a trip in December and was wondering what the road is like from Stanthorpe to Kingscliff?

The quickest route (262k's) is via Kyogle. However it looks like it could be dirt. Would I be better up heading north back to Warwick and then east via Beauderset and south to Kingscliff?

This is the route I'm planning:

Cheers ...

I just found out that there is approx. 5k of dirt road but apart from that it is bitumen and windy. We ahve freinds in Stanthorpe so hopefully when we go there in December they can advise us of current conditions.

Thanks!
