I'm presently the happy owner of a 1997 Mitsubishi Delica 4wd and on the hunt for a suitable Off Road Van/Camper to pull behind. I've previously owned a couple of retro caravans, the last one being a 1975 Cabana. Got rid of it last year due to water leaks and wood rot..... at the wife's insistance. She wants an A'Van but we'll see what comes up.
In June this year we did an outback trip to Lake Eyre via the Flinders Ranges, Arkaroola and then up the Oodnadatta. Came back via Coober Pedy and then down to Gawler and home. This was the first big trip for the Delica which handled the worst corrugated roads I've ever encountered with aplomb.
