My New Accomodation

Postby Sharky on Sun Jan 11, 2009 8:33 pm

Ooops I did it again I looked at this van today (Have had a look at a few the last week) but when I saw this I couldnt say no 17ft 7ish x 7ft 6 Empire poptop got it for $800  It has 2 double beds and rear bunks I have never seen this layout in a poptop, one bed folds into the wall to give another couch during the day and has the drop down table for another double and of course the bunks. It has the most cupboards I've ever seen in a poptop its great. It was onsite for about 20ish years and not a spec of rust in the chassis :D It needs some work here and there but as you know I love a good project/challenge. I will post some more pics up when I can

Admit it Sharkey .. you have an addiction ...

Supreme and Sunland both have that set up. Jayco might have it as an option but I don't think it's on their website.

Happy travels!

Scol.

Done some work repaired the front corner frame, sealed it and am now building a cupboard/bench in front of it as well as a permanant bed at the front.I replaced the timber paneling on the roof at the front it was ok but a bit stained. I still have to reseal the van/roof area and take the poptop roof off and rebuild it   that will be a job and a half. Painted the drawbar area with some paint left over from the trailer.Hope yas can work out what pics are what got stuff everywhere in there at the moment its a MESS. I tell ya what though I borrowed my brothers compressor and nail/staple guns OHHH makes it so much easier.
