heyas...

I am in to 4wding. I don't have anything to do with Caravans. I don't have anything against them, but i'm either, not old enough, not rich enough, don't have any kids or missus, and i can't tow a Caravan because i have to tow my car trailer/4wd toy.

My 4wd Life Story...
I use to go 4wding/camping with my cousin and i got the 4wd bug. I eventually bought a 97 Hilux Xtracab and added 31MTs, front detroit locker and snorkel. and i thought that was pretty cool. I did most tracks that everyone else did, like Big Red (Powerline track - Brisbane North), Camp Hill at Cruiser Park etc etc, and then started getting some damage as i pushed it more. Being a $24,000 car at the time i wasn't very happy with the damage. I then began a search for a second "play 4wd". Hiluxs / Jeeps and everything else that was considered a "capable" 4wd were atleast $5000 for an old one, and then you would have to start adding modifications like diff locks etc. So i eventually had no choice but to go with the ... wait for it... Suzuki Sierra! I bought my first one for $2000 and had some awesome times in that thing. Moving right along (because i think i need another beer)....i have since owned about 5 Sierras. I have built up a nice Sierra and have done some rock crawling comps and have done pretty well so far. That is my favourite type of 4wding.

2003 a few mates and myself started the North Brisbane Suzuki 4x4 Club.
www.nbs4x4club.com - it has changed a fair bit since i originally built it. For the worse.
I built and maintained the website and forum for about 3 years. I am currently doing the club magazine
2006, a mate and myself started www.auszookers.com - Australian Suzuki 4wd Online Forum

Anyways, i can see all you Pajero owners rolling your eyes about now getting bored......, about 8 months ago my faithfull old Hilux was written off because some P plater hit me head on. Both the Hilux and her Toyota Echo were totalled. There wasn't much left of the Echo. So i was paid out for the market value and needed something capable of towing a car trailer with my toy Sierra on the back., so i bought a 92, 75 series cruiser ute, which i am very happy with. It pulls the trailer/car along very nicely.

I see you have 10 millions sections so i'll put together something for the "your 4wd" section.

Future plan:
in about 1 1/2 years, i am planning doing a bit of a Tree Change. I would like to move to the country, possibly have some land and work in the country if possible.

Note:
I usually have a few beers and rave crap on forums, so don't get offended by my comments, it's all meant in good humour.
