Ensuite Sites

Postby Scolers » Wed Jun 25, 2008 3:52 pm

Love 'em!

We don't have a toilet/ shower set up in our van so we try and find parks with ensuite sites. Depending on the park as to teh price but we have found parks with ensuite sites for $31/night right up to $60/night (called a 'super ensuite' 'cause it had a washing machine and bbq).

The cheapest ensutie site we have found so far is Tin Can Bay tourist park (QLD) and it cost $34/ night less 10% if your a member.

Generally prices are around the $40 mark but again if it's Big 4 or Top Tourist Parks then you get 10% off.

This post just got me thinking there is a van park in maroochydore where you can hook up to foxtel
they have this feature for the camper's not just those in van's
might not be anything new but it was a first for us.

You can usually hook up to TV but that's the first time I've heard that you can hook up to cable. Never been to Maroochydore either. 8)

One Mile Beach Caravan Park near Boat Harbour (Port Stephens) has hook up cable as well. Great when raining for the kids.
