Just wondering whats happened to chat night...we all seem to be missing each other. I havent recieved an email notice for ages now....Admin...can we look into starting that up again???

Might just need to get it back on track so that we can all at least catch up once a month to keep in contact with each other and get the motivation happening to plan some more trips and encourage new members.

Yes and l know l'm a fine one to talk as l've been AWOL more times than l'm here of late but life does go on and trips away do distract me but l am here every few nights and do miss chatting to all the regulars.

We all get the notifications Lee ... it's just that we don't want to talk to you so your name's off the list ...

Yes I believe Admin stopped the monthly chat night as it was always the same people that were chatting on here every other night. None of the new members ever seemed to drop in. Im not one to talk as I havnt been on for sometime myself. I got a reminder email saying caravanand4wd misses me as I hadnt been on for some time. I thought I better show my ugly mug again lol. Maybe Admin might give it another try if he reads this topic.

I used to chat here a while back but found this new format a bit cumbersome to use....i'm just a simple Westaussie and take forever to adapt to new things.

I figure it would be better to have a regular chat night even if it was with the same people at least we had people turning up and chatting and reading threads as opposed to now where we have hardly any regular postings let alone chatters.

I agree with Lee about having regular chat nights. I seem to keep missing you all on here lately.

ok everyone the chat nights will be returning
what i would like to know from you all is how you would like to have them.
ie: weekly,fortnightly or monthly.
also what night would best suit you.
i know it won't be easy to please everyone but i'll do my best

I believe at least monthly, otherwise it would be too long in between chats IMO. Be good to see them up and running again.

I could join in too but normally only after 8:30pm once the kid goes to sleep.

I'm usually the other way around ... I finish up on the comp at about 4pm so the prodigal son can take over.

I'm happy with any night, maybe look at when most people do get on throughout the week and what time generally and work it from there...I didn't mind the Friday nights but at this time of year with people working huge weeks and all the partying and visiting of rellies it might not be a feasible night.
