If you look above the cartoon of the SHORTY with the SURF BOARD on top, you will see a Shinny, Purple, Real 4bie Button. If your really, ready for the Hard Core 4Bie stuff, it will let you in

To be honest l actually find the chat box to be quite cumbersome and annoying when it pops up at the top of the threads when you check them...it seems to take longer for me to scroll down a page.
I too liked the old format if not for it's simplicity but l'm also not one for adating to change so easy either.
